Go to the courthouse in that town and they maybe able to help you with this, they maybe able to tell you if a bank was involved with their business and then they may know more .But wouldnt the State of Florida have that info also !

try visiting the states tresure page. During my search for grants I came acrossa Nebraska traesury page that said it had lost/unclaimed money and an area to put your name in to see if your name is in their system to claim money. It's worth a shot
