What is the maximum you can contribute to you 401K in 2010

The maximum 401k contribution for 2010 is $16,500 unless you turn 50 or older within the calendar year and then you can also elect to contribute a catch up amount up to $5,500.

I work as a food server, thus most of my "pay" is in the form of cash (tips) which i do claim and am taxed on.

I am limited on the amount that i can contribute to my 401k by my paycheck, which is a nominal hourly wage and basically covers my tax obligations. how can i contribute the cash portion of my wages into the 401k? i wish to contribute the maximum allowable, which is 16,500 for 2010.
