Salaried Employee My son works for a company who pays him salary, he works 10 to 12 hours daily, last week he was sick and they did not pay him. They do not pay him OT or hourly they pay based off 80 hours for 2 weeks |

If I understand this your son works 10-12 hrs. per day (100-120hrs per 2wk. period) and agreed to a salary based on 80hrs. per 2wk. period, first off I wounldn't work there, and I'm not sure that salaried persons get OT.. He could use vacation time to make up the diff. if he has any earned, but unlesss he has something in writing I think he gets what he got ........sorry

Is it legal for a company to hold and freeze a former employee’s 401k for 60 days? the employee was laid off due to the down turn in the construction industry and at no fault of the employee.
I received, completed, and returned my 401k rollover paperwork to my ex employee and over 6 weeks has gone by and the rollover is still not complete. the employer is holding the paperwork. is this legal and is there a time frame as to when the paperwork must be turned in?
