Relinquishing

I have 3 cats that I have been asked by my doctor to find homes for. Myself and my son have asthma very bad and the doctor feels that the cats are aggrivating our health very badly. Also, my 6 year old daughter is all of a sudden breaking out in hives every night and the doctor feels that is from her handling the cats in the evening.
Please help me find a way to relinquish these 3 wonderful cats.

I had to give away my yorkie and I did so on craigslist, but be VERY VERY careful. Meet with the people that you are giving them to and use your best judgment. PETA warns that there are people out there looking for "free to good home" pets that are horrible. So treat it as any ad in the newspaper and really get to know people if you go that route, but it is the easiest way. I had 50 responses in 1 hour, and I eventually did find a wonderful home.

I live in NW IL in McHenry County, and all the shelters that I have called are too full with cats and cant take them.

Yeah that is usually the problem. Cats are everywhere! Craigslist is free and you can always post and see what responses you get.
