Pt#2 Can I move out of state with my child?

There is only a birth certificat, no parenting plan of any kind. I can only afford to stay in NC for a short time. The father is unco-operative with anything at this point. He also has no support order because we have been together since the baby was born. Basicly he's sorry he signed the certificate ad wants out of hes resopnsability. Yet wants to save face with his family as the poor me. Point is I need to move and I need to know I am not going to get arrested taking my child to live in IN.

I would stil check with an attorney to make sure that NC doesn't have any laws that would prevent you from moving regardless of a parenting plan. If he has no objections to your moving, that will help a lot, type up a letter for him to sign that states he has no objection and get it notarized.

Thank you, but I don't think he is willing to sign anything at this point. I'll have to wait awhile. He won't co-operate with anything or anyone right now. My father says we'll get an attorney in IN th handle things. But I do have a right to be able to care for my child, and transfering back yo IN will help me do that.
