Owed wages and can't pay an attorney upfront, need a texas labor attorney probono. How do i find one?

Former employer has been operating business that by federal laws or guidelines is required to pay hourly wages. Along with the unpaid wages that were paid under the clients accounts as gratuity that they assumed would be paid to employee providing the service. This business does not pay any overtime, holiday pay, retirements, 401k, or any benefits. But reqiures an "on call" availabilty. Paying an amount that is determined at owners decision on day of pay made on a 1st and 15th of month schedule. Purposely hiding the account info. On sheet giving job instructions.

Employment attorneys usually take cases on contingency, meaning that there is no charge to the person who is seeking damages, and the attorney collects at the end of the case.

According to a Texas employment law firm, unpaid wage claims must be pursued with the Texas Workforce Commission Wage Claim prior to being able to pursue action with an attorney. Apparently this law is called Texas Payday Law.

I would advise you to seek an employment attorney in your area and inquire about your problem. You should not have to pay for this information, and if your case is accepted, this area of law usually works on a contingency basis.

Thank you. the fact that the case has to go through the TWC prior to the aid of an attorney is the needed information that will assist in this process.
