We need more information if we are to offer any advice.

Can you please supply the state that you are in, and the ages of your children. They have to be dependents if you wish to go against this woman for anything on behalf of your children. Or, if he died with out a will, they may be able to contest her gaining it all because they are closer relatives.

We live in rochester ny i have three girls 17,13,11and no lawyer will help me

Answer 3/3 - Submitted 9/12/2011

This means that all three are dependants of your ex partners estate. They have a right to part of that estate. I am in the UK and can not recommend the use of anyone in NY, but please do not give up fighting for what these children are due.
Please keep checking here as there are many great people here, that are from the US that could hopefully direct you to some one who can help in your area.
If you could explain why any lawyers have refused you, that would be a help to those who come after me. Thank you and good luck.
