My employer has his name and the company's name on my 401k plan above my name is that legal? I have a 401k plan through work i put 3% in and the company puts 3% in. The owner lists it as his name, the company and then my name. Is that legal? |

Yes, this is perfectly normal. Since your employer is sponsoring the plan, the employer should be named in the paperwork. Each employer will have different rules for 401Ks. This is the way the fund is identified by the administrator of the fund.
There is nothing illegal or abnormal about this.
