Mutual funds I invested my retirement pension in MetLife in the year 2000. In November, I withdrew the amount left in the account, but I rolled it over into a Deferred account that I already had so it would draw more interest. I know I have to report the amount withdrawn from Met, but since I rolled all of the money into another pension plan, do I have to pay any taxes on the amount withdrawn. Also, with I first put the money into MetLife in 2000, the amount was about $25,000 more than the amount withdrawn in November. Can I take a loss on the difference? |
