Question

Asked 11/9/2010

Is my soon-to-be-ex husband entitled to half of just my contributions to my 401k AND/OR what my employer has matched as well?

I am fully vested within my employers 401k plan. They also match to whatever I contribute. Does this mean my husband of 7 years gets half of the entire amount or what I only contributed? such as if I gave 60.00 a month, ( which then is 120.00) does he get 30.00, or does he get 60.00, plus the monies it may have generated depending on stocks an such....

(community state)

thank you
