If there is no beneficiary named does it go to the spouse? my husband has 3 different retirement plans that he did not name a beneficiary or have a will when he died. does the money go to the spouse? |

Not necessarily. It is more likely that the accounts will go through the probate process. It is not good when you don't name a beneficiary on a retirement account, it is even worse if you don't name one (a designated beneficiary) before September of the year after the year your spouse died.
