I was employed in two states this year, TX and NY. How do I file my federal taxes? Do I need separate forms? Can I still do my taxes online?

Your federal taxes should be filed the way you always do. One return that includes all of your income regardless of the state where you resided. You will have to file two state returns (one for each state where you worked).
