I participate in a 401k plan. Am I eligible to make Roth contributions? If so, how much please? (married filing jointly). Married filing jointly |

My new employer offers a 401k plan with some matching. however, employees have not been able to contribute the max ($!5,500) due to nondiscrimination rules. am i better off not participating and investing on my own so i can invest the max? would my contributions to my own ira be eligible for tax...
I have a 401k from a previous employer that i want to convert into a roth ira. unfortunately i am not eligible to contribute based on income limits above 120k. it seems the rules changed in 2010 and allow the conversion, but not contributions without first contributing to another ira? i need help...
How much money do you think i would receive. also is is legal for a company to hold your monies and disburse in february and august only.
