I had an oil change around early last year, my oil was running low and i put 4qt. of oil in my car. Now white puffy smoke is coming out of my tail pip I had an oil change around early last year, my oil was very low and i put 4qt. of oil into my car. Now their white puffy smoke coming out of the tail pipe, what is the cause of this? |

White smoke is usually an indicator that your engine is running too hot. You are burning oil. Your engine most likely needs a tune up. It should be checked out. Another note too... make sure you are changing your oil more often - usually at least every 5 months or 4,000 miles or so, whichever comes first. It varies with different cars, but that's a good rule of thumb.
