My gut tells me no. VA disability is a tax free compensation but knowing the government like I do, they'll cut part of you retirement down and make it tax free so it doesn't sound like double dipping. I suggest that a call to the VA regional office is in order and speak with a counselor. Their number is 1-800-927-1000 or at www.va.gov
