Death on Property How do I find out if anyone died in my home/property or nearby prior to us living there? |

In one or two states the seller is actually required to inform you of this, but you may have to ask specifically.
You could check back through the ownership records at City Hall.
Another possibility might be the files of the local newspaper.
If a house is old enough the chances are pretty good somebody has died there.
