Claming my childern on my taxes My ex wife is one hundred percent disabled from the military and in not employed there for does not file a tax return. are her grown childern allowed to clam them on their tax return if they are not providing support to them and i am i able to clam them on mine |

Say i have 42000 in my 401k and want to pull it out cuz i am being laid off due to the nafta agreement what are the taxes going to be or what should i set aside to make sure when i do my taxes i don't mess up.
If i withdraw my 401k to purchase a house would i still be subjected to the 10% penalty and taxes or just taxes?
