Can I legally cash out my 401K? I live in Rhode Island. Last year, I was forced to file Ch 13 to save our home from foreclosure. I have been recently laid-off and currently collecting unemployment benefits and I just enrolled and starting school under the TRA program. I need cash for various reasons including to continue health benefits. Is it legal to cash out my 401k and do I have to report it to anyone? |
