401k cash out. My husbands company cancelled their 401k plan as of the end of June 2010, 3months ago, and told employees that they need to state how they wanted their funds distributed. Do to our financial hardships we have decided to cash out. The company stated funds would be distributed by the end of September 2010. We have yet to see the money and the company now states to employees not to call the corporate office with questions regarding this issue as it is now in the hands of an outside company. How long is the maximum we should wait to see these funds before filing a complaint, and with whom would we file the complaint with? |
