Who has legal right to the 401K of a deceased person? Who has the legal rights to the 401K of a deceased person? The beneficiaries named years before on the 401K or the person named in a current Will who was suppose to get it? |

I've changed jobs and want to roll over my 401k from my old job to the 401k at my new job. i've got 10 years invested in the old 401k and i'm 100% vested. when i tried to roll it over, the broker who manages the 401k account for the company i used to work for says it can't be rolled...
Also if the suviving spouse is diabled medically how does this affect their own 401k withdrawls, and their deceased 401k fund distribution?
If you are getting a divorce after 19 years is the spouse entiltled to 401k even if they have there own money from another source. and when is the 401k payed out and what if the spouse is deceased?
