When it is time to retire and obtain the $ from my 401K can my ex-wife or the state take any of this money? I have been paying child support for the last 10 years and my son is now 19 so that in theory has ended, however, I spent the first 9 years of his life as an alcholic and living on the streets. During that time I accumulated 50 thousand dollars of back child support which includes compounded interest from that time to this.
