Question

Asked 6/7/2008

My new employer doesn't have a 401k. I already had a Roth and an existing IRA. Which one should I fully fund now?

I was recently laid-off and my prospective employer doesn't currently offer a 401k (may in the near future). In addition to the above question, will the 401k rollover be considered part of the yearly IRA contribution and if so, should that affect anything?

No... your roll over will not be considered part of the yearly IRA contribution. Good Luck!
