Can you use a stop loss order on 401k account? I know you can use the stop loss order on stocks, but not sure if it can be used on 401k also. thanks |

It all depends on how it is set up. Most 401ks justs allow you to put your money in a fixed selection of mutual funds, and money market funds. You can certainly have a brokerage account if they let you.
Maybe the original question was something different. Perhaps it should be explained more fully.
